Though the band only formed in January their faces may seem familiar to arriving Wigan fans. Vocalists Carolyn Walsh and Andy Unsworth, alongside percussionist Si Ellis were all members of The Atomic Hound Dog, whilst guitarist Mark Jay was part of Good Time Charlies – both of which previously entertained the crowds in previous years Showcase Stages.

Andy“I actually talked to Mark and saw him play at the Warriors Showcase for the first time back in 2011 and thought he was a great guitarist then. Fast forward on to last December and we by chance bumped into each other in the Grand Arcade and got talking. It was weird but great timing – he had just left the band he was with and we were just forming a new one and looking for a guitarist. We swapped numbers and arranged practice together and it just gelled right away”.

“If it hadn’t of been for the Wigan Warriors Showcase Stage I don’t suppose we would have met, so it will be nice for us all to get to play together on it for once before the game”.[/i

The Showcase will be the latest appearance in the midst of a spree of recent live dates which have included an appearance at this year’s Candence Festival in Tyldesley, and a slot supporting ex-Witness front man Gerard Starkie.
