A typical Dave O post always reminds me of James Joyce's 'Ulysses': Overlong, packed with material and no doubt full of plenty of merit but I can never quite face reading more than the first few lines.
I imagine him to be the person who enters the pub and when you see him come in you just roll your eyes as you know that any sensible discussion will stop as he is the expert on everything!
