Maybe it was just me but I found it really annoying, overused and quite frankly made for frustrating viewing as it was all over the place.
Seemed like Sky had 'crowbared' the use of it into the game play just to be revolutionary.

No pal, it's not just you, I was sat with four others and we all hated the damned thing. It didn't really show anything new and just gave views that were pretty much hopeless to viewers on TV.

It may have helped the VR, but certainly not Steve Ganson, Jeeeez Stevie Wonder could have got the call in the Hull derby right!

Many went to watch the games, not a camera floating about like a lost soul!

It annoyed me too. During live play it was impossible to see what was going on. It was overused in the Wigan game I though, It gives a very different view which was fine for replays but absolutely useless for live play as you just couldn't see what was happening or watch the play unfolding.

Although I thought SKYs coverage was by far the best I have seen of our game I also think the spider cam was used in the wrong places. For me it would have worked best right over play - not behind or infront - to give a birds eye view of positional play. I don't know if they had one there but the fast camera on tracks that is used at some footie games and athletics would be better.

Having watched the game on telly this morning, it adds nothing to the TV viewers' experience and neither does the ref cam.

Love the spider cam.

I think it gives a refreshing view of the game.

All weekend I thought the SKY clowns did more criticising Refs decisions than in all the years of SKY coverage, they continually spouted on about the technology being there for Sky to showcase. The first steps will be two refs and after that line judges running on the field throwing little flags as in American Football to signify an infringement.

The sky clowns were an embarrassment last night and stevo's love for all thing's Leeds/Sinfield was at an all time high.

The spider cam made me feel nauseous at times, hope its not a regular thing. The referees head cam were also terrible. Poor Thierry ALibert looked like one of the Borg from Star Trek

I liked the ref cam to be honest

I thought it was quality! Sky used it a bit too much though. Not a fan of the ref cam, its a good idea but a bit pointless.

Nice for it to be used for replays only, after the play as happened. When live it's unpredictable where the ball is going to go, so it leaves viewers feeling sick as the cam chases the ball around the pitch.

With a reply it could offer a different perspective of the play or see things/movement off the ball.
