| Listening to the commentary today Williams had a pretty good game. However is it too soon to throw him and Powell in against Leeds next week. The experience of Sinfield and Mcguire will be a tough ask to match. I also wouldnt like to see Lockers there as when Green went off at KR we never really created anything till Sam moved to 6 and then we tore them apart. Personally Id like to see Sam and Powell v Leeds in the halves as there a number of players who can cover at fullback. I also feel the last few times we have played Leeds Sam has been managed out of the game from full back so moving him to cover the halves will give them something else to think about. Thoughts ?????

| I think playing Tomkins at 6 is a wise idea. He can control the game, something Williams or Powell might struggle to do against a side like Leeds. If Wane decides to play Williams he'll get targeted by Bailey and he will really shake Williams up. Sam is too clever and too quick for Bailey. Not saying Williams isn't but we all know Sams capabilities. Play Pat at full back, safe under the high ball and will be able to deal with Sinfields kicking game. It'll be interesting if he plays Williams, if Waney does I hope he rips it up. On the topic of Leeds, we need to nail Watkins and keep him quiet. The lads electric and in great form.

| Given the comments earlier in the year about the Warrington game then why not let the young lads play, after all the game is meaningless in the grand scheme of things. Let them have some experience.

Not according to Wane on the radio - Smith only has a very outside chance.
Wane confirmed it will be Williams and Powell if Smith is out.

| I'd go Richards at FB and S.Tomkins in the halves if this is true then go back to playing Williams in the easier games for now but fair play to Wand he ibviously has confidence in him!

| How close is Hampshire to first team rugby. Reading many comments over teh last few months particularly from Rogues, Williams and Hampshire and being touted not only as Wigans future halves but potentially England/GB future half back combos.

| If the first choice are injured then play the reserves! Do not move around 4 or 5 players to make up for 1 injured one. Why move Tomkins to SO, Charnley to FB, Thornley to WG and Hughes into the centres just because we have an injury at 6/7. Just put in a 6/7. Let him learn. Burke didnt let anyone down coming into a big game against wire in the 2nd game this season.

| play the kids...give them experience.
win or lose the experience will be invaluable, and who knows, we might need them again at the business end?

| Play the young lads if Smith is not fit they will gain some valuable experience.
Like others have said it's hardly the end of the world if we get beat.

| As many have said the league table doesn't really matter. As it stands we have qualified for the playoffs. Round peg for round hole IMO, it's a great opportunity for the kids, throw them in and tell them to enjoy themselves as the result counts for very little.
