Had a few scoops in town, first time since Chaps and King's int 80's for a big town it ain't a guiding star - we are smaller and worse but pull the chest in chaps the pride is limited.
PS Tomkins is a star we must keep in RL took sheeite all night then acknowledged it and took the applause.

Whereas in Leigh it always feels like 1988, you were pretty crap then from what I remember. Wait for it you will now have a deluge of leythers telling us how they won the cup in 1921 & 1971 and how they were champions in 1982. How's it go again now ..... "Your just a bus stop in Wigan" or even better " a back street in Wigan"

By then we'd already won 10 league titles, 9 Challenge Cups, a WCC, 19 Lancashire Cups, 3 League Cups and a Premiership.
Even with their current run included, the 10 league titles is 1 more than Leeds.
Dreadful record really.

Yeah, I just can't get over the fact that back in 1981 we lost five league games. I still lose sleep about it.

How would you know we think it was only invented in 1988? You haven't even reached 1988 in Leigh! You've only just found out about electricity. And I for one, am quite surprised Wigan council are letting you use it!
