| Saints fans have been excusing their loss due to missing some players. I seem to recall Wigan going to Langtree at a similar point last season and despite injuries actually turning Saints over!!
rlhttps://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/rugby-league/17602944rl
Quote: "Warriors had to overcome the absence of five first-choice forwards, skipper Sean O'Loughlin, Epalahame Lauaki, Lee Mossop, Ben Flower and Liam Farrell. And coach Shaun Wane revealed afterwards that full-back Tomkins had been unable to train all week because of tonsillitis and had only played because it was the derby. '"
I just hope Saints fans do not sink as low as saying they won the singing contest

Except that I couldn't hear them singing from the South Stand. If they were singing, they need to put a bit more umph into it.

| Was it 2003 when we had 4 debutants and 10 players that were 21 or younger and we still beat their Champion side?

At the end of the day they are pretty crap and have been for years. Cannot for the life of me think why McManus insists on extending contracts to players that should have left. Wellens, Meli, Gardner..etc. Along with poor overseas signings such as Perry, Hohaia, Laffranchi and average uk players like Wilkin, Shenton and Foster. To top it off they have been poorly coached for quite a few years too. I don't see them winning any silverwear any time soon.
