From what I have read on Premier Sports twitter page, They have tried to get themselves put onto Virgin media But because Virgin wanted such a large cut for doing so it wasn't worth while for premier sports to pursue it.
They do a live streaming service but I'm unsure If this will include NRL matches live or just on demand.
On the face of it £9.99 sounds a lot. but when you consider that they will be showing 8 live matches over a weekend, to an avid RL supporter I reckon it's more than worth the money. If they do stream the NRL matches live online I'll definitely be subscribing.
The lack of HD is a bit disappointing though.

As for HD - a five year deal might give them the platform now to pursue HD. I mean they the NHL Ice Hockey on a long deal as well - so who knows.

You don't need a Sky Sub, if you ring Premier Sports they can provide you with your own Smartcard, obviously only to decrypt Premier Sports  |
