Good, the standard of refereeing has long since been in decline.

Good news! I might apply to be his replacement.

I didn't respect the man as a referee, and I respected him even less as an official.

I wouldn't exactly say good riddance, but pedantry and inconsistency seem to have become major problems during his tenure, and we've seen little evidence of attempts to sort them out. Anyone who can prioritise those two areas will get my vote.

Hated the bloke since he let Dean Sampson get away with the hit on Skerrett and let McCracken get away with doing Mean Dean.

For me the worst thing the game has done in the past 15 years was to put Cummings and Wood into their current managerial positions. One down and counting!

It's only good if his replacement is better. I can't see how it wouldn't be but you never know.

Completely agree. Wood is such a light weight who thinks innovations like club call in the playoffs and for that matter the magic weekend are the kind of thing that will move the sport on. I think his middle name is Nero.

I wouldn't like to try and pick him up!

just to make it worse we lost R Smith to Aus when Cummings got the job, the better ref out the two and the best ref we have had in the past twenty years.
