I have had a look around to see what I could find and thanks mostly to Bilkos site I have come up with the following.
The last recorded match for Wigan I can find for Peter was the 19th April 1975,in this match they played Keighley at home and won 40-05, Peter was loose forward and he did score a try.
I cant find a record of him being chaired off the field,but there is an iconic picture out there of him and Kevin Ashcroft carrying Ashcrofts son round Wembly after Leigh beat Leeds in the 1971 final.
This is a bit sad this is ,I have been out and had my usual 3 pints of mild and come to sit in front of the PC whilst most of you will still be shoving it down your neck for the next few hours.
