I'm 49, I've had a brain haemorrhage and a triple bypass and I could still go out and play a reasonable game of rugby union. But I wouldn't last 30 seconds in rugby league.

| I believe you can only vote while the show is on so imo Bradley Wiggins deserves it.
Hopefully a bit will come out about JJ and how good would it be if he picked up the award and did the JJ sign...perfect place for gorilla advertising

Forget the gold medal.
For an Englishman to win the tour was amazing.
The fact that there were two of them worthy of winning it incredible!
Us cycling fans couldn't have dreamed it not long ago.
I hope next year he returns the favour.
I only half watched the programme and I didn't see if he did the joining jack salute.
If he didn't what a shame - that would have been tons of publicity.

There were quite a few who would have been deserved winners, and I was pleased too see Wiggins come out on top.
For personal reasons I was hoping that Sarah Storey would have made the top three. I was surprised that Mo Farah wasn't in there.
