| I've not renewed yet, i'm still undecided. £488 is a lot of mobey for me to spend on season tickets when the first7 months of the season are pretty pointless. I've had a season ticket for the past 14 years but I just can't get excited about the prospect of sitting at the DW watching us play Wakey, Cas, Bradford, Salford etc etc with ourselves having a massively depleted team based on the past 2/3 seasons. To me it seems more of a chore than pleasure and did last season too.

| Renewed yesterday, can't understand why people are undecided as the team last season played some of the best Rugby we've seen for years.
Yes the play offs are plain daft and need improving but overall the season was enjoyable for me, bar the way it finished.
The whole of RL needs a good look at itself but that has been a feature of this sport for decades.
Things also have been far, far worse. Not too many on here seem to have been around in the 1979/80 era when we were relegated. Or when the Roos toured here in 1982 with a squad of career long full time professionals playing our part timers. Those times were just awful.
What we are going through now, topping the League, are the sunny uplands compared to that.
The RFL/SL need to change and improve a lot of things and will.
I can appreciate why questions are being asked but that's normal in RL, it hasn't stopped me buying season tickets in the past and hasn't now.

| I renewed my daughters yesterday as a christmas present. When i asked , i was told they would be posted out "just before christmas"
Thats not good enough imo, people who bought straight away are having to wait almost 2 month to recieve their purchase?
If they arnt available for immediate delivery, they shouldnt be selling them.

| Several of my family and friends have had season tickets and have questioned renewing them. I have not had a season ticket ever and always pay on the turnstile/office as I can pick and choose my games, as pointed out by other peope on this thread and otherswe needed one or two signings to capture the imagination and get excisted about. From a marketing perspective it would make sales a lot easier for the office staff, I cant imagine how difficult a job it is for them now our player signing policy has been made public, we know where Mr Leneghan's priorities are now heading unfortunately ($).
I wanted a club forum so the fans could ask questions about the season that has just passed and our 2013 campaign, however it has been overlooked until early 2013 when people have already committed to season tickets and merchandise. You need to know what your buying into and what you are getting before it happens...

Unfortunately after 17 or so seasons of full time rugby in the UK, our only hope of competing with the Aussies at international level is to send our best players to play in their league or conjure up some residential or grandparent rule to increase our player base (or both), whereas in the period between 1988 - 1995 immediately prior to Super League we were genuinely very, very close to them with attendance figures unthinkable now.
Don't worry though, Leeds may beat Melbourne in February so all is well with the world.

| Haven't bothered renewing mine for much the same reasons - might renew my 7 year olds as it is good value and he can then come with me on the games that I cherry pick.
Becoming somewhat dissillusioned with superleage at the moment, I'm honestly getting more enjoyment out of watching Wigan St Pats these days than watching the pro game.....haven't even bothered with the current meaningless crop of winternationals, even on telly.
For those of you who can't be bothered with England v France, on Sunday there are 2 Lancashire V Yorkshire Roses games at Rose Bridge at U17's and open age, KO from 1:00 with an U7's triple header of Rose Bridge/Hindley/St Pats as a curtain raiser. Tough, honest rugby, maybe with some biff too,( possibly even in the roses games as well)

It's only been 'some of the best rugby' against awful competition. When we've come up against the likes of Leeds (semi-finals) and Warrington, we've been a long way off. It's easy to start trying to throw the ball about and have a bit of an exhibition match against poor opposition. I feel that the SL, RFL and Wigan to some extent have no ambition with regards to the quality of rugby on the pitch, and Wigan are becoming a feeder club to RU and apparently to the NRL if the rumours about Hock, Hansen, Mossop and Sam are to be believed.

| Some of the teams were awful and some were made to look awful by a very good Wigan team. Leeds were not awful and we beat them convincingly at home and battered them at Shedingly with seven players out. 2011 we lost both matches against the Catalans yet beat them home and away 2012.
We lost the semis etc when Tommy was injured in which the whole squad and coaches never coped and from which we never recovered.
We are losing players to Union (backs) and NRL (forwards).
Players used to come to League for the money now they are leaving for the same reason as circumstances have changed.
RL has to deal with those changes.
If we want to have the same money as Union then for starters fans would have to pay the same entrance money at the turnstyles as Union watchers do. If Wigan made those charges they'd get around 2000 a week at the DW. That's before we discuss (or not) the TV money.

| The regular season is pointless and it seems stupid to pay out hundreds on a season ticket.
Last years regular season was the worst since SL began and its no coincidence that its came the seasoon immediatly after Leeds were crowned 'champions' after finishing 5th.
The playoff structure is effectively keeping people away from the game.

| Not had one for 4 years now due to finances in November of every year.
This year however, is the first time I haven't even considered trying to find the money. What's the bloody point? The sport is on its and the season is pointless...
I'd predict some worrying attendances acrossn RL next season.
