| so with rumoured signings and players i would like to see us sign heres my team.
1.sam tomkins
2.charnley
3.goulding/gelling
4.thornley/gelling
5.richards
6.green
7.smith
8.mossop (if he gets back to form)
9.micky mac
10.scott taylor
11.hansen
12.hock
13.o'loughlin
14.Kopzack (i would like us to sign him, think he would be imense trying to impress hes national coach)
15.gil dudson (shows signs of qaulity just needs a good run)
16.ben flower (let him trim down a little bit as he has the enginge to back up second row or 13)
17.liam farrell
then fringe players;
prescott. (if he ever gets over injuries and carrys the ball properly could be qaulity.)
eric. (hasn't let us down all season apart from against wire but will be very useful through out the season)
jack hughes. just needs a little bit more time to fill out but still good enough for first team
tuson. personally i would allow him to leave i can't see him bettering him self at wigan
crosby. loan him out for the season not heavey enough just yet
spencer. same as above
lloyd. loan him out for a season or duel reg
sam powell. he is the next fringe player so keep him around
personally other than tommy and carmont going i think we will be stronger next season, lima and finch lost interest half way through the season and the players coming in will want to prove them self. i expect us to be better next season overall with a bigger and stronger pack and faster backs.

| How about Keith Galloway and Jack Reed, both out of contract at the end of 2013 but NRL clubs have released players a season early before.
Also, both of them aren't at an age where it can be claimed they'd come over to the UK for a last pay day.

Neither of them will be any where near super league in the next 4 years if ever, sadly.

2. Josh Charnley
3. Darrell Goulding
4. Anthony Gelling/Iain Thornley
5. Pat Richards
6. Blake Green
7. Matty Smith
8. Paul Prescott
9. Mike McIlorum
10. Lee Mossop
11. Harrison Hansen
12. Gareth Hock
13. Sean O'Loughlin
14. Scott Taylor
15. Gil Dudson

That's how I see us lining up 2013. I just can't see us making anymore signings after Taylor (presuming everything has been gone through okay).

| I think people may be expecting a bit too much signings-wise. I reckon Taylor will be confirmed then that will be our lot, although I would like us to sign another prop and a reserve winger also. I'd like to see something like the following:
1 Sam
2 Charnley
3 Goulding
4 Gelling
5 Richards
6 Green
7 Smith
8 Prescott
9 McIlorum
10 Mossop
11 Hansen
12 Hock
13 O'Loughlin
14 Taylor
15 Powell (bring him on at 6 with Smith shifting to 9)
16 Farrell
17 Lauaki

i would take jack reed anyday of the week but i am sure he is a right being played at left and he isn't as half as dangerous. keith galloway doesn't get me excited one little bit hes an average player for me and would be a good player in superleague but still dont see the point in using overseas spot for him.

Chris Bridge? You Insane?
If we're after a centre i wouldn't mind someone like Daryl Millard or Leroy Cudjoe.. but the latter would have to shape up he more or less disapeared with the rest of the Huddersfield side in the 2nd half of this season.
what are these two like contract-wise? They on Long-term deals or not?

i wouldn't want bridge anywhere near wigan, i know he is a good player just dont like him and i think thornley/gelling have potential to be better anyway.
asotasi would be a massive gamble he would want big wages on a 2 year contract with a bad record of getting injuryed and i think he would come for a last payday as i dont think he would be here for the long haul. when some nrl team think he might be over them injuries he will be on a plane, but ian knows what are salary looks like and will know if its worth the risk. (i would love to see him have a couple of games for wigan).
overal for size and pace and strength i dont think we could get better than,
kopzack 1.93m-108kg's might be heavier now
mossop 1.85m-103kg
taylor 1.93m-105kg
dudson 1.90m-110kg (he will start next season i think wane really rates him)
prescott 1.90m-104kg
lauaki 1.84m-109kg
is mossop and lauaki is the smalliest props we have i cant see us struggling to make meters or get domianted in tackles.

20333_1393344959.gif Current thoughts - Mago out or get running up them plantations, get fit or get rid.
Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal.
Big tall strong running second rower, like a McMeekin or Sironen type back rower.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_20333.gif |
|
| Millard or Moon would be nice at centre plus Taylor

Big Roy is totally injury prone. Be like signing another Fielden, Souths are basically signing Lima as he replacement.
Bridge? Ratchford is keeping him out of the wire team, please no.

| willie mason if we are going to gamble, he was ripping in for newcastle and i dont think many other nrl teams are going to take a chance on him.
