| I know , we will all have our thoughts on we're we need to improve on for next season, but for me it has to be our three quarter speed , even Charnley looked lacking for pace tonight !

IMO charnley has been a shadow of his former self this last couple of months. Is he maybe not 100% fit or is he just not getting the same service from goulding?

| Im too worried about the forwards to even think about the backs at the moment.
Scott Taylor looks to be a good solid signing but I think we need a genuine enforcer up front in 2013.

| We were lacking in forward power and a decent kicking game - yet again.
Sinfield showed yet again how a decent kicking game, with a set of committed forwards to back it up can make up for a team that looked as if - Burrow apart - would never break down a defence.

Charnley got hit with perfect tactics last night ... what was more amazing to me was that someone at Sky (JW) not only spotted it but understood it!
Sinfield targeted Charnley with is kicks, as with ST out, he was your main return threat ..... might seem daft as he's a good catcher, but if backed up by a good defence, the tactic takes him out the game for the first 3 plays of the set - he takes the 1st tackle; that means he can't 'receive' for the 2nd; and when he gets back on the wing, the play will have moved to the other side, so he is almost certainly out of position for the 3rd play!
Very simple, but highly effective ....... as proven last night.

I was thinking to begin with that it may put more I suppose nerves in Murph. In that the longer he kept kicking to Charnley the more it will build the pressure up on Murph. As if Sinfield kicked to Murph and he caught the first one then it would build his confidence.

| Charnley wasn't as effective because Sam was missing.
Usually a kick return will be caught by Sam who will give it to charnley to attempt to put him through a gap usually succeeding. Without Sam charnley was being sent the ball straight to him and then being chased down superbly.
One thing that can't be faulted yesterday is leeds tactics and they worked very well. Funny really if they played like that all year they'd stand a chance of winning two things.

Surely this cant be true, I thought Super League's greatest centre was playing inside him.

| Charnley has not been the same player since he got injured in that Exiles game, with his injury and Tommys we lost a lot of our attacking flair and both came back not fully fit and it has cost us.
