agreed, IMO he should have stepped aside last sometime year - with the WC next year there's precious little time now to get a squad together that's properly gelled with a proper leader (can't we get Finch to take GB nationality?)

I'm guessing McBanana finally saw the light and was planning to drop him. Peacock has decided to quit before he was pushed... Just my opinion of course and if I'm wrong I'm sure I can expect a phone call to put the record straight...

Jamie Peacock deserves massive respect. He's been an immense player and person for the British game and I'd love to see him stay in the set up in some form.

Yes the guy has been a great player for Bradford Leeds and England the stand out prop for england for some time but he is right the time has come to quit international rugby and try and prolong his sl career. Respect to him but like Nicky kiss would have loved to have known before last exiles game then we could have given him the ovation he rightly deserves as an England player.
