| I just wanted to put this out there for you all to ruminate on... the largest crowd at Broncos this season was on the opening day, against St Helens in -2 degrees.
What are the chances that a nice summer's game in July, in the afternoon. will see the biggest crowd of the season? Do we really want to see Saints get the biggest crowd (it won't be difficult to bring more than Huddersfield brought I'll tell ya!)? As a Wigan fan living in London I hope not!

[quote="headhunter":lnxdgxk2]Union people are idiots. They almost universally accept that league is a better, faster game played by better athletes, yet for some reason they continue to disregard and belittle it. That game is tedious as hell from start to finish. If he'd ever played or even bothered to give more than a fleeting chance to league he would realise that the game is far more 'technical' than Union ever could be. Booting the ball into touch, scrummaging and forming rucks and mauls aren't areas that involve any skill, technique or mental capacity whatsoever. These are clumsy, outdated facets of the game that are also extremely uninteresting to watch and thus have to be defended in some way by people who are too prejudiced to see the truth.[/quote:lnxdgxk2]: |

| Couldnt make it up! Broncos relying on away fans to get anything like a half decent crowd!
Don't worry, we'll bring 2-3k as we always do, outnumber the home crowd and give you your biggest crowd of the season.

| Saints have me to thank for that one, I went down with a Saints supporting mate from uni. Took us nearly 5 hours to get back, as we had to do 40MPH from Oxford to Stafford cause of the Snow. Depending on funds, I might get the train down for this one, was a good day despite the weather last time. Bit of a ripoff at the Burger Van though.

I know, I've been to the Stoop as a Wigan supporter for many seasons now, I get how it goes. I just figured other Wigan fans would want to make sure they were the biggest crowd of the season, not Saints.
CM - You're right there, but I bet that travel back was freezing! Hopefully it'll be a bit better in July

| I'm going, but not because I want to get one over on Saints, just to support my team that I love.

| I will be there as usual when Wigan come down to play. My son is playing in a minis comp there the same day. He was also on the pitch at half time during the St's game, and underneath his Rugby shirt, he had his 'Sam will tear you apart again' t-shirt. Even though it was freezing he took off his playing shirt so the St's fans could see it at the end.

33718_1325770967.jpg Games as big as Grand Finals define individuals and clubs. Remember, we only rent these journeys. In my time I had Pat Richard's shirt. Ellery Hanley had Sean O'Loughlin's jersey. Sam Tomkins is wearing Radders' number one jersey. Andy Coley is wearing Shaun Wayne's jersey. You have to make a mark in these shirts before you hand it down to someone else. Hand it back. So be aware for 80 minutes that you are not only playing, but you are also writing history and creating legacy. How many people actually write history - not many? A big stage demands big players…..INSPIRE YOUR TEAM MATES.

| The London trip promises to be one of the biggest followings of the season. Loads staying at the Twickenham Premier Inn which is joined onto the terrific Winning post pub. 10 mins. walk from the ground.
One big party down at the Stoop.

However, a number of electrons were mildly inconvenienced.
