Blimey I don't think I've ever seen a coach so thrilled to be coaching a side. He loves every second of his job and you can certainly tell. Passionate bloke who could motivate anyone and recent weeks so far have suggested he has the tactical acumen too. I was critical of the Widnes game & that will still haunt me a little in terms of frustration but that aside you can't complain at the job Waney is doing.
I love this idea of mental preparing as though we're 2-0 down and are the underdogs. No talk of the previous victories - spot on Shaun. Mental preparation is so crucial in sport.
Not sure if it was posted on this board but there was a superb article on sportinglife about Shaun Wane.

Quote: He's a front rower and they get knocked out, "So the tough-as-teak forward had no sympathy whatsoever for the plight of Epalahame Lauaki when he was knocked out during the Warriors' Challenge Cup quarter-final against St Helens.
In fact, Wane was absolutely horrified at the prospect of his prop forward being carried off on a stretcher.
"He's a front rower and they get knocked out," was his simple explanation for the injury.
"I'm glad he didn't go off on that stretcher. That would have been embarrassing. I'd have dragged him off myself first."'"
