Wigan under 20s 16 South Wales Scorpions 20
Cold wind and rain kept the crowd away but we were entertained by two teams in a titanic struggle. It was 16-16 at half-time and it could have gone either way.

This may be a daft question but why is Tom Spencer playing for South Wales when he should be in Wigan colours working to Wigan patterns etc?
Seems a bit strange.

Surely this is a typo error?
I expect rogues gallery to come along very shortly and again tell us how much better the academy system is at Wigan than at every other club and that this result was nothing more than a misprint

I am aware that it was their 1st team,but i would have thought that a top class academy side would beat a lowly championship clubs side like them as they have only won one league game thus far wouldn't you? |

Perhaps subject should be under 20's lose again, I think they have only won 3 games so far this season. Virtually same players available as last season, only thing that has changed is the coach, his methods and team selection, so perhaps questions need to be asked. Players like Burke, Carberry and Crowe being used sparingly when selected or hardly getting a game at all or played completely out of position also doesnt help. Watched the game against Scorpions, the team seemed to lack any inspiration or team spirit.
