For the first time in a very very long time we have a lot of money likely to be available next year. It is likely that Tommy, Carmont, Fielden and Roberts will all leave or retire.
I would like to see Dureau and a top centre and increase some of the young lads salarys wherever possible. We have the best pack in the league by a long way in my view so defo no more forwards needed. We really need to use this money wisely! What are your thoughts????

Number one priority-

Sign Lockers and McIlorum up for 5 years
Sign Finch up for 2 years

Number two priority-
Sign a top class replacement for Leuluai. This is a world cup and four nations winning halfback/hooker who's won a Harry Sunderland award in a grand final victory so his replacement can't be any old player. They need to be top quality.

Number three priority-
Sign a top class replacement for Carmont

Number four priority-
Upgrade the contracts of deserving youngsters to make sure we have a settled side for years to come.

Agreed completely, initial priority has to be keeping the quality players we do have at our club then attention can be turned to replacing the two world class players we're going to lose.

Sammut, Ah Van and Webster are must buy players, spending on these cheap but good quality players will mean we have enough cash left for the youngsters, come on Mr Leneghan make it happen

we should have never have got rid of Jordan James, he could have been a superb player with the right coaching and he also had a better try per game ratio than Trent Barrett

Sammut is a good player playing for crap sides, when the team he's playing for is getting stuffed 50 nil he'll create a try out of nothing to make it 50 - 4. Never Wigan quality in the memory of man.

Ah Van? Pfft!

Webster? Rather sign Kevin Webster.

Dureau, keep Finch, Dane Nielsen. Sorted k020.gif
