I know he's not our first choice goal kicker but after kicking so well at Widnes I've been a bit disappointed since, Missed a few easier ones today and I know it wasn't important in terms of the match but it could cost us in bigger matches. Also lost me my handicap accumulator!...

Weirdly he struggles with the easier ones. I do think he has quite a good action though and just need practice at dealing with the pressures.

A bit of work with Deacs at training will help no end I'm sure. Josh looks like a natural kicker that just needs to work at it to be more consistent

Practice makes perfect, I've no problems with him being our regular kicker once pat leaves, unless we sign Danny brough

If pat's going to be out for a while, I hope they really work on this. In tighter games, his inconsistancy could really hurt us. Going back to the other thread about Gelling / Pat, if Pat is fit, what he loses in attacking potency is more than made up for in his defence and his goal kicking

I know what you mean. I had us -38 so didn't totally effect me. Could have done with us being a bit more clinical all round. Our going through the motions performance cost me £64 in lost winnings
