With a player as young as that if its anything like football we wouldnt have had much choice we would just have to have been paid compensation by Wire depending on when he left.

I'm not sure if it is, he only left Wigan after the scholarship period ended. Pretty sure Warrington are paying him more, but if you had increased his wages you would have also had to do so with the other England Academy players. He's going to be a brilliant player though. |

Think wire offered him a lot more money after the 16's scholarship games! What's the lad to do? Take the lots more money of course! And by all accounts he's progressed well through the ranks! Good on him! Gotta make money while you can I suppose and they are giving him the chance he probably deserves! He was one of wigans starlets in the 16's but didn't offer him what wire did! Sure it won't be the last time this happens!

exactly right, Wigan have been there and done that, except Wigan were very very successful and dominant for a long time where as Wire have still been relatively 5hite apart from 2 trophies that a lot of fans think are not all that important anymore, keep fooling yourself, Moran will get sick of wasting money at some point

A bit more to it than that.
He played one off v the other and IL said enough was enough and wasn't prepared to be messed around.. There was also a little "bonus" from Warrington.
Good luck to the lad he looks a very good player, and he got the best deal for himself. Time will tell. |
