The other code are trialing this at 4 games from now untill the end of thier season and in the paper i read that they are putting in place next year at a cost of only over 300k cant remember the correct figure but its only a small cost and would be a help in our game surley we can afford that ammount.

It'd be fantastic to have. I can't see the RFL implementing it though for some reason, surely they would have already by now.

We need to sort out the referee problem before bringing more of them in. Some times the video ref doesn't even make the right decision, which is inexcusable IMO. The standard of refereeing has never been so low.

There aren't enough quality referees in Super League in my opinion and that is something which I know the RFL are looking at rectifying. Big screens at all games aren't necessary but video referees are. The only thing I can imagine stopping video referees at all games is the cost but I could be completely wrong. Does anyone know how much it costs to have one at each game?

I have always thought that there should be a big screen at all games or no big screen at all. At the moment it is a disgrace how games are reffed differently depending on whether they are on TV or not.

Completely agree - I have seen some very questionable tries being awarded in games without a video ref. American football, now check every touchdown to make sure it is legitamate. I am not sure if we ever need/want to go that extreme, but I think it highlights the need for refs to be able to use the technology in all games.

At the very least we should have a video ref at all games without a big screen, where the VR can communicate the decision to the on-field ref.

There was an idea knocking around a year or so ago of having all video feed go to RFL HQ where one or two video referees could decide on decisions.

Interesting idea as it would alleviate the need to have a ref at each game. Anything that contributes to consistency in decision making should be welcomed with open arms.

Give all fans a controller with a Yes or No button; at least you could be certain of getting all the decisions at your home games

Is it me or is the big screen getting worse in terms of picture quality. From the East stand you can hardly see it from the angle you're looking at it from. Looks ok on tv and from the west stand I guess.

you dont need to have a big screen to have a video ref just take the co-operative championship, it would cost around £2500 a game if you go off what the other code are paying next season.
