| Really starting to dislike him, every take he made last night he was attacking the ball to trying dislodge it trying to get a 50-50 call !

| have noticed a lot of players go just for the the ball it's becoming a joke. they made a few breaks last night due to one or two of ours doing it, bring in a new rule against reefing the ball out, make it illegal to do so even if it's one on one, fair enough if it's a ball steal let it be allowed but just reefing to try and get the knock on should be banned, i want to see more tackling than grabbing, less breaks would be made if players where actually trying to tackle rather than reefing, it would promote more skill in the game both in attack and defence

There are many players that do this to be fair and the one on one ball steal rule has probably made this technique more popular.
If there was one rule i could change in the game it would be to get shut of the ball steal rule.

| I always thought that a ball steal had to be 1 on 1, if another defending player had touched the attacking player prior to a 1 on 1 ball steal, then it isn't allowed as another player has previously been involved? I'm sure I saw at least two occasions of this last night.
Also... When the Warrington player stole the ball from Finch, why did the ref make him give it back to him at the PTB as opposed to giving us the penalty?? |WTF|

Is that the one that generously throws sweets out to opposition halfbacks?

| He's a dirty sly player. Have a look at the tackle on Lockers on 14 mins 30 seconds. He drops his knees into his ribs.

I can't believe that one. Have a look at him tackling Lauaki, throwing his throat against Lauaki's forearm, sly dirty player.

| Come on lads, why do people feel the need to have a pop at opposition players when their team loses a game. Take defeat like a man instead of having immature, childish digs at players.

Its a good job no one in else in the league tries to dislodge a ball in the tackle. How awful would it be if O'laughlin did it in every tackle !
Whats the matter lovey, did you lose a game last night ?

To be fair, there are times when the ball handler quite conveniently (and cleverly) 'loses' the ball in the tackle in order to gain a penalty.....Finch definitely did so last night in a tackle with Blythe, and I've seen Jamie Peacock do similar this season.
I don't like to defend refs too much, but it can occasionally be difficult to tell the difference between a steal or a simple case of a weak carry on behalf of the attacker.
