Just wanted to say a big thanks to the Riversiders for a cracking night last night at the This is Your Life for Sean O'Loughlin. It was great to see the SS Bar full of cherry and white - supporters, players, backroom staff, Wigan legends and Sean's family, and there were well deserved video tributes from many others.
Over £3000 was raised by the night to benefit Sean's charities and it was a great evening - thanks again.

Been a great servant to our club, and deserved a better testimonial than a pre-season friendly in the middle of winter.

Fantastic night and a real tribute to the depth of respect that Lockers gets from players, coaches and fans. To see players from other clubs like Jamie Peacock, Adrian Morley, Kevin Brown, Luke Robinson, Shaun Briscoe, Stephen Wilde and Feka Paleaasina turn up as well as Wigan legends like Billy Boston, Bill Ashurst, Denis Betts and Mick Cassidy says it all. Fantastic work by The Riversiders to get it all together, too, especially getting vidoed messages from the likes of Madge, The Hoff and Bryan Fletcher.

Sam, Finch, Josh, Goulding, George, Liam, Tuson, Tommy and Waney were there as were Coley and Deacs. Then there was Morley, Peacock, Stephen Wild, Shaun Briscoe, Kev Brown, Luke Robinson, Wayne Godwin, Andy Greg, Mick Cassidy and Denis Betts.

Messages from Barrett, Phil Bailey, Phil Clarke, Nobby and Stuart Raper were read out and there were video messages from Shaun Edwards, Maurice Lindsay, Madge, Hoff and Bryan Fletcher.

A great night, a lot of work must have gone on before it.
I now know how to get free drinks in Wigan !
