| looked to bring new and innovative ideas to the matchday programme for your club
However, we want to hear your views about what you would like to see in your programme.
If you are a regular programme buyer, what do you like?
Is there something that used to be in the programme that you would like to see return?
Have you seen something in other publications that you think would work well for your club
What puts you off purchasing a copy
do you have any suggestions ?

| I always buy a programme for every game I go to and I think they are very good and I'm not sure if there is much more you can add.
However one thing I would get rid of is the embarrassing 'Terrace Talk' bit. It's basically someone taking everything that has been happening on forum's like this and making a story out of it. Its always cringe-worthy when I read and it sounds like the person writing the article isn't even a Wigan fan.
Topics that have been started on here as a joke, make it into the matchday programme with this person thinking it is the view of every Wigan fan and its very embarrassing.

| Sounds like you are thinking of pitching for the programme contract?
Unless you already have it? If so, you ought to say so.
Whichever, I hope you aren't the editor ("new and innovative"icon_wink.gif...

| We used to buy two programmes as my son & daughter wanted the pull out player poster on the middle pages but when it was removed last season they were no longer interested. Also, the odd programme that I did buy last season seemed to be full of adverts (like a FREE newspaper) which was another reason why I personally wasn't a big fan.
Bring the full middle page player poster back & I'll buy two every game, if the kids are happy = I'm happy

| Graphic Press have apparently won the battle (I actually doubt there was a battle but) to do the programmes this year and the price is £3.
Anyone know if they will produce one for Thursday?

| It's a testimonial, so I'd be amazed if there wasn't a programme and equally surprised if it doesn't cost £5

Yep, same here. Despite living a mere 19 Miles from Wigan as the crow flies, we are in a virtual Rugby League free zone. Our local rag, the Lancashire Telegraph doesn't cover RL so I buy a programme mainly to keep up to date with various info surrounding the club, injuries, fitness and so on.
I know of two or three Warriors fans in Darwen, a family of Warriors supporters in Blackburn and twice recently down at Ewood I have seen folk in Warriors gear. Perhaps I should get the Lancashire Telegraph more interested, especially in view of developments at Rovers!

I would be very surprised if they tried to charge £5

| Why?
That seems to be the going rate for these testimonial games.

| The testimonial website mentions a "commemerative programme" so I would imagine that it would be on sale this Thursday. Doesnt mention anything about price, I'd guess if it's like a normal matchday programme it'll be £3 but if they've done a special A4 magazine-type thing then that would be about a fiver.

| I highly doubt they will be creating an A4 programme so it'll probably be the normal A5 at £3
Happy to admit if I'm wrong though!
