Anyone coming by car please be aware that there are three way temporary lights right outside of the stadium on the roundabout. The traffic is very heavy already with shoppers traffic so I'd advise parking away and walking to the ground as it will be a nightmare before and after the game.

Too bloody right it was! Me and the person I went with spent half an hour or so in the Park Inn after the match rather so as not to spend at least double that sitting in the car just waiting to get out of the car park. I hope it's sorted before the England -v- Wales match.

It should be completed well before the 4N game, could be real fun otherwise.
Parking in town and the 10 min walk isnt an issue though, and will be far better than exiting LSV even without roadworks.
Park on the retail parks, Leigh Miners, or around the town centre and walk down - they will also probably have Pennington Flash car parks open.
Best boozers in town will be Thomas Burke, Boars Head, Yates, Muskateer, Spinning Jenny, Hilton Arms, Leigh Arms and Waterside.
Leigh CC, Miners, East and RU club are all only a few minutes away and The Robin Hood is at the bypass lights off the Lancs and the Railway opposite Miners.
On site you have Leigh East, Legends and Park Inn.
