I know its a bit of a long shot, but i was wondering if anyone on here had seen anyone suspicious around the area before the game? My girlfriends car was parked towards the top of the road towards the enterence to the canal bridge and was there from 3pm onwards, and came back after the game to find the car had been broken into and a few things stolen. Yes, the car did have warrington wolves items on the windows but with being a lifelong fan of the club, i'd hate for it to have anything to do with any wigan fans and it just be a clueless idiot! Does anyone know of any other cars being effected yesterday?

I was in a taxi on the way home from the game and saw your very car parked up, I recall thinking "what would a Warrington fan be doing at todays game" and the car seemed fine then mate, this was after full time and after the on pitch speeches, didnt notice anything suspicious at all.

it would seem fine it you was just walking past. they had put a screwdriver down the side of the driver side lock and put a hole in it to open the down and had a route round. and she was there with me, i like to try and bring her to as many games as possible, in the hope of converting her.. i was just too hungover to drive!

Depending where exactly you are on the estate there are CCTV cameras round that area.
Suggest you try the police on Scot Lane see if they can help.

Also the burger bar is there all the match you try and see him next time the latics are home.

We used to park down there until about 3 years ago our car was broken into. Don't think it was anything to do with the Wire badge, just mindless scroats unfortunatley. Police took swabs and even got a finger print off the car in blood but nothing ever came of it. We now park of the big car park behind B&Q, by the time we come out of the south stand bar it's clear and never had any issues.
