I understand that the official "RL fans" messageboards position is that they cater for the wider RL "family", no club has it's "own" messageboard etc etc etc but the amount of non Wigan fans who post on here, hijack threads, with the same utter tripe, day in day out is becoming very very boring indeed.

Time was when we could discuss all things Wigan RL on here. Now, you can't make any point without some Stains/Whino, and increasingly Warrington fan sticking their oar in.

It's having a negative impact on the forum imo.

Called Jealousy unfortunately and was bound to happen once we got back to the top...all the mods can do is try and ban the little gob 5hytes who try and derail our discussions

If you want a site for JUST wigan fans then try a wigan forum, not an RL forum.

All it takes is some moderators intervention of which I’m sure will be on its way soon. I post the odd comment on here but some people as you said seem to live on here to irritate...

It gets into the PHIPPS/Barrie McKenzie territory .The joy when his posting privileges were removed from the virtual terrace was one to saviour indeed.

You are right, I wouldn't mind...

BUT the people doing it are often derailing the threads from the original topic.

It's not thaty we want a site JUST for Wigan fans, but to be able to have dicussions without constant interruption from trolls from other clubs. Often fans from other teams make a positive contribution, but that it is usuall overwritten by the majority coming on here to cause hassle and derail threads.

What really is boring is the amount of bitter RL fans from other teams sniping at us constantly.

Some of the best and most enlightened posters on here for me are from other teams, including Stains and the Dire. However, has has been said there are some god awful, sh[ii[/ite for brains trolls who need to be moderated properly. Given the number of mods we have it shouldn't be a problem, but looking at the names a lot of them don't seem to be on here with the regularity they used to, if at all.

Given this I am putting myself forward to be a mod on a "clean this town up mandate".

Just respond to the topic! Trolls try to elicit a response ignore them and they move on. There are plenty of opportunities to have a debate even if its an heated one on the sport.

I actually find them amusing.

The dismal quality of their trolling - like the guy asking why the "Brigantes" are named after a Yorkshire tribe, ignorant of the obvious point that Yorkshire didn't even exist in the Iron Age (nor did England, obviously) - is hilarious at times. I laugh out loud at the utter muppetry of these people. Some of their posts are so moronically random I don't think you could make them up if you tried.

I used to think many of them were deliberately obtuse. Now I realise most of them are just not very bright (and that's being kind ).

Dimmest of all are the Wolfs. The sheer number of total muppets from Warrington visiting this board is incredible. It's as if they are determined to prove they are the stupidest fans in RL (and they are doing!). Even Leeds fans are geniuses by comparison with the Wolfs.
