39110_1363272058.jpg Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
-
sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever
-
Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go
-
Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know

| We were outclassed.
But just look at how many tries we giften to them, look at how much ball we gave to them.
If we meet warrington again, it won't be a similar result.

| We were outclassed and played very poorly. We gifted away far to many trys, made uncharacteristic errors and pretty much didn't turn up on the day. Playing like that we wont get near a grand final. But i can guarantee we wont put in a performance as poor as that again this season.

| Most of their tries seemed to come straight from Wigan errors. The team just looked out of it right from the start of the game. Wire got their tactics spot on and just had to keep getting into the right positions. Too many tries were gifted too them but the reassuring thing is that it's such a rarity for that to happen.

| Its just like asking a Wire fan after the quarter final whether they would win the grand final after being well beaten by Wigan. Pointless questions both of them. Its on the day and Wigan seriously looked as if they had this phenomena known as the 'cup final hangover'.

| Or the phenomenon known as 'Warrington had a fortnight to prepare for this game whilst Wigan had a tough game in London against Leeds.'
We were always losing this one.

| Similar to the 1/4 final game. You scored crucial tries off some Warrington mistakes, and some loose balls.
Thats how this sport works. It's about capitalising when a chance is presented/gifted, which is what Wigan did to Warrington in the cup game.

That's true, quite a few fans from both clubs prior to the quarter final were saying the team that loses that match would win the shield. Looks like they were right.

Most tries come from errors, it's the nature of ruby league.
These errors was forced with good strong defense apart from harrison hanson who just liked dropping it today.

Warrington led 16-2 in Saturday's Grand Final, but their joy was short-lived as Wigan roared back to win the Super League title and extend the Wire's 58-year wait to be champions:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_10174.png |

| Today hasn't changed my mind one bit, I still fancy us to win the GF. Wire we're on the ball and we gave them too many soft tries. I don't even feel gutted that we lost, I half expected it backing-up from the Cup Final.
Plenty of time to regroup before business begins

If our forwards play as poorly as they did today, no we won't. Wires were very good and forced us into living of scraps for ball possession and therefore no field position. I thought that once again Cooper was their unsung hero, good prospect.

You was always losing this one?
Thaw not the noises coming out the Wigan camp all week, you had the normal week to prepare as Wigan was back in training Monday.
You could say Warrington could have been rusty as they ain't played and Wigan went in battle hardened.
It's the price of being successful and the best teams handle it.
I think you was beat by the better team on the day and IMO the best team in super league.
