| ......that led to Wigans clinching try.
I have watched this time after time and Charnley does his best to avoid the ball as it goes into touch. He makes no attempt to keep the ball in play after Leeds spill the ball, just avoid it - which unfortunately he doesnt as it crosses the line.
Ladies and Gentlemen I give you Law 9, Section 7.
7. In all aspects of general play, a player who does not deliberately play at the ball (eg. ricochet or rebound) will not be disadvantaged by a consequent restart of play when the ball has gone dead or into touch.
And thats the end of that. Totally the right decision.

| Yes apart from Burrows doesn't play for it either. Charnley kicks it onto him.

No he doesn't. Charnley attempts to kick the ball back in field but misses it. The ball hits Burrow and heads towards the touchline and Charnley tries to avoid the ball. So it was the correct decision.

| the decision was wrong but I dont think it effected the outcome.
We had our chances to win it but failed to complete them.
Congratulations to Wigan. On balance you got the rub of the green on some crucial calls but thats the way any game goes especially in close finals and in the past we have had the calls in our favour.

He doesn't touch the ball at all when he attempts to kick it. It just bounces off Burrow then back towards Charnley. But you're right, we won and it's done and dusted.

unfortunately 99% of all fans, players and especially commentators do not know all the rules. Burrow 100% played at the ball, he had no choice, he had to try and get hold of it. Charnely was clearly seen to not play the ball, the ball played the man, correct decision Wigan scrum. the easiest decision the line judge had to make all day!
definately a forward pass from Mossop to Lima but Lima still ran through two leeds tacklers.
Ablett clearly did not play the ball correctly penalty to Wigan and no try.
lifes a bitch, there you go. next week it will go the other way.

| Sinfield goes for a 40/20, the ball bounces and hits Burrow (he doesn't play at it), it then bounces and goes towards Charnley who tries to get out of the way but it hits him (he doesn't play at it) and it goes into touch. Therefore, head and feed to Wigan as it was a Leeds player that kicked it into touch.
Had it been inside the 20 then it would have been head and feed to Leeds.
Nobody seems to be mentioning McGuire's illegal challenge on Paaaat. No way did McGuire go for the ball, he jumped directly into Pat. Wigan penalty.
Davies really annoyed me at the end when he pointed out those two Wigan "incidents" and didn't mention Ablett or McGuire.
It looked like he was going to burst into tears.
Still, as has already been said, it's history now and we won.

Charnley kicks the ball attempting to run on and score a try, just like Jones Bishop did. Burrows charged it down. Where people get confused is this, the kick from Charnley wasnt great in fact it was a bit embarassing, however Burrows did a great job to anticipate it and charge it down. The question is this, if Burrows didnt chase back, would an unopposed Charnley score? Yes, end of.
Fair decision and a good attempt from Burrows who was their best player. Get over it leeds, the best team in the competition won, the second best team got beat in the semi.

I thought it was Sinfield. It was a carbon copy of the one he got away with at the DW.
It's poor that the only tactic to stop Richards is to constantly cheat.

My mistake, it was Sinfield.

| Over the whole game Leeds got the rub of the green on more occasions than Wigan did - it's just that the commentators didn't mention them or keep highlighting them.

| If i was a leeds fan I would be more concerned as to where my winger was and if he was engaged in something else where was the centre to cover the 20 metre line and open area for the kick return.
Rather than looking at the ref who had to make a decision 30 metres away and at 100 mph look at your own teams positioning. I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure it was the 5th or 4th tackle.

| No one seems to have mentioned Carmont's off-load to Sam about ten metres from the Leeds' line in the first half. Sam dropped it backwards yet the ref gave a knock-on. There were incorrect decisions both ways.
The ref ignored off-side and not square at the play the ball.
