When he took over he said that he had inherited a lot of long term, over priced contracts and that it would be 2010 before any trophies would be delivered !

He's brought the professionalism and ambition back to the club and judging by the dummy spitting by our poor cousins elsewhere in the SL it would appear that his strategy is working.

It really is hurting some of the Saints, Wire, Leeds fans on RL fans .... I love it when we get under their skin. Thanks Ian !

Yeah, he basically said that after years of looking back to past glory, we have now won the trophies again and don't need to look back anymore, we can look forward instead! He also said it was particularly sweet (or words to that effect, I can't remember) that it was Ganson that gave the last try as video ref

I was walking down Wembley Way on Saturday towards the Torch Pub about three hours to kick off and IL and his wife were walking back towards the stadium, with coolbox in hand. You could see he was savouring every moment walking through the Wigan fans, I shouted "Are we going to do it Ian", which he replied "Without a doubt" with a raised fist. The guy was on cloud nine you could tell...!

You can tell he much prefers to be with the fans when he could have been 'hob-nobbing' prematch with the sponsors, dignataries and other hangers-on.

He's worked wonders with the team and backroom all we need now is a decent WEB SITE, slowest in RL. This is by no means a criticism, just a fact
