Would it not cause problems with our sliding defence, particularly when defending near the goal line? More space to loiter in for a winger and more space to run into out wide. It makes it much harder to have an effective sliding defence if the pitch is wider. |

My only issue is Joel and Josh's wing as our defence is a bit dodgy down that side at times. Also if Hock plays it could be an issue as well but I think he will go with Farrell.

the question is will Hock help create more chances in attack to break the line by his speed/size from prop and offloads to compensate for his slightly slower pace in defence out wide compared to Farrell. Having 5 props will surely tire the opposition............. if we can keep hold of the ball..........

What are the minimum and maximums for pitch length and width? I'm sure there isn't a 9m discrepancy between them!?
