Just wondered if anyone is thinking of going to wave off the boys as they set off to Wembley. They are going on Thursday and I presume from Edge Hall Road.

For the homecoming, if we win they are doing an open top bus tour on Sunday.

I've a feeling if they win we will be doing a homecoming at the stadium, my wife who works on the bars at the stadium has been asked to work on sunday at 1:30, I assume they will make their way there on an open topped bus

All this I assume will only be IF we win!

i - like many others - am staying down in LDN until Monday for the Bank Holiday weekend

i think the club would be a little misguided if they had a parade on Sunday. Many, many Wigan fans would end up missing it icon_sad.gif

It's traditional to parade on the Sunday.

i know, i know. It just wouldn't be great for all us who're in London icon_lol.gif

i'd SERIOUSLY consider cutting the weekend short and loosing the hotel money and heading back eusa_think.gif

To be fair, I think I only went to the 1984 & 1985 homecomings, never to any of the '8 on the trot'.

Usually because I thought it was for kids, plus normally had a banging hangover the morning after anyway.

If we win, will probably go on Sunday just so the kids can see the team.

Anyone know what has been arranged in terms of times and routes?

I am staying over on Saturday but don't want to miss this.

Is anyone thinking of going to wave the team off though? If we can find out the time they leave, it would be nice to get a few down and give them a bit of support

Oooooh i remember going waving the lads off, a little old lady was always there and passed on a pennant for good luck every year. I wouldn't imagine she would still be around now though!!

I will be nursing off a hangover on sunday whilst travelling back from london scheduled to arrive back about 8 o clock at night, not too fussed about missing the home coming! HOPEFULLY I will get to see the lads with the cup after the game on saturday, that will be more than enough for me!
