He has the ability to turn into a worldwide legend of the game.

If we were writing a list of modern greats I'd say Sam is a better player than Robinson already with potential to climb higher.

When Maurice sold me to Leeds something changed, it just not the same, the passion inside me just wasn’t the same as running out at Central park for my hometown club.
We need a change of culture here; we don’t want to be just happy with playing ok on Saturday at St Helens.
Ill make sure that from now on things will change, that players will be under pressure and will train a lot harder than they have before.

I started a thread this season saying 'Sam will be better than Edwards in a few years' and i do stand by that.
Dont forget this is his first season at fullback and he's 22 the lad will just get better and better it's quite scary |

The first time he played for Wigan, everyone knew there was something special about it, and for years there were whispers about him when he played through the academy. He's probably the best player I've had the pleasure to watch. Week in week out he does something special.
