And with Prescott not playing today, it looks as though he's still not over his injury yet.

On a positive note Gaz Hock looks to have progressed in his fitness and had a really good game. Ran hard, caused damage, a few offloads and didnt look slow in defence.

I think prop is his position for this year atleast so he doesnt get exposed outwide in defence.

gutted about that, hopefully Prescott can get some game time next week. Saying that Hock looked very good today!

Anyone know what happened when Mossop got put on report?

On the radio they said it was to do with something that happened during the grounding of the ball for one of the Salford try's. Could be wrong though I wasn't there.

Confirmed as a broken arm on BBC Manc. Deacon, Lima and Prescott are all fit, they were just rested.



According to Bilko on twitter; "Mossop on report for shoving a player into advert boards apparently".

Doubt it. Salford's first try was scored out wide in the left-hand corner and Cross had gone off by the time they scored again

He might make the playoffs.

It looked bad straight away - but credit him for still trying to tackle, even though he conceded the penalty.

The injury is a shame as he would of come in handy for rotating our props around the final and the build up to the playoffs but imo he isnt good enough to be in our first choice 17 come the big games. I'd have Coley, Lima, Mossop, Prescott and Hock all infront of him as front rowers.
