Do we rest players for the next two games?

Its the perfect opportunity to give players like Roberts, O'Carroll, Marsh, Hock, Mellor & possibly Goulding and Tuson if they are fit? Some game time.

Deacon and Carmont need 2 weeks off. I wouldnt play either of them in both games. Then rotate other players such as O'Loughlin, HH, Hoffman, Leuluai, Coley & Lima

I would only rest players if they are carrying knocks. Keep the momentum we currently have going. 9 straight wins now is it?

If they're not at 100%, they don't play. Wouldn't surprise me if the likes if Deacs, Coley, Carmont only played 1 game of the next 2.

Correct. The players have a full seven days off until Salford at home.
Each player will be desperate to play (and play well) in those two league games for fear of losing their spots at Wembley.

On a side note, does anyone know if Faz is ok? He was limping before one of Foster's tries and went off after one, but seemed to be ok when coming round to clap everyone.

We need to try to keep momentum up and try to not let the cup distract us from the league.

If any players are going to fill in for the rested I'd like to see the likes of Mellor, Logan, King etc. Not Roberts or Goulding give the future a chance. Goulding Nz Roberts have had chances time and time again.

Roberts apparently is now fully fit after his second operation on his knee a couple of months ago.
I believe he scored a hat-trick yesterday as well....so never say never (for next season).

We thought it was his knee.

It's actually his hip flexor.

I'd like to see the following players sit out one of the next two games; Carmont, Deacon and Coley. Obviously anyone carry an injury should also be rested. Plus if Prescott's fit for next week I'd be inclined to give Lima and Mossop alternate weeks off ahead of the final. With correct rotation of the squad we have a great chance of doing the treble.

Problem is, if you rest a player for too long, surely they'd lose some match fitness and focus.

I'd like to see Mellor given a couple of games against Salford and Cru. If he his going to take over as our long term 6 he should be getting a few games in the 1st team.
