| when is MM and SW going to learn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the moment I heard the team i thought here we go. we got lucky tonight, end of. we were not the better team.
every time we play with Tuson in a 3 prop system against the better teams we lost. Tuson is not the answer. we got beat up front for the majority of the game.
Lima and Mossop were awesome but we lost prescott and we were already in bother.

| I agree. From watching in the stands our ball retention seemed awful, thats something we normally have spot on and something Madge seems to nail into the team but tonight it was awful just too many individual errors and the penaltys from Alibert didnt help either.
Lets just think ourselves lucky tonight we dodged a bullet, bad performance but we've come away with the two points.

| Must admit when I first read this post I knew we played 4 props but couldnt remember the 4th - Prescott. did he not do much game time tonight? He came out warming up before the team did doing something with Mark Bitcon so mabye he is carrying an injury?

| I couldn't go tonight so watched it on tv.
Our props were our best players, all 4 made a very good impact, the 2nd rowers were the ones generally losing the ball.
Leeds pack just was up for it in the first half, but our props still made their metres and territory.
The problem tonight lay with Leeds' superior kicking game, 2-3 short kicks caused us no end of trouble, on both wings.
Ball retention from Hoffman and Hansen was poor, wasn't helped by some awful passes by Deacon (who needs a rest imo).
Props all played well.

| Mossop superb again tonight, best prop on the pitch by a county mile. Take note Steve Mac.
As for Prescott he was having a good game before he went off injured. I don't think losing him made a great deal of difference tonight, we didn't struggle to make yards at any point this evening IMO. It was a below par performance that could have cost us the game.

| Precky had a fitness test before the Hudds game.. maybe the reason Ben Cross is being rumoured?

He went off after helping win the ball form the kick off from which we scored. Looked like shoulder or ribs.

Hamstring or groin problem.

Me.
If it's a serious injury, move Hock up front or bring in Crosby. I admit I wasn't all that impressed with Davies on Thursday, though.

| Perhaps they have learned that 3 props doesn't work for us and that's the reason Cross is rumoured to be joining the club.
It has been suggested on this board that Coley and Prescott have been carrying knocks so cover with an experienced prop would be a good move IMO.

| I think the problem is when Tuson came on, we lost that bit of size and prowess on the field. Against Hudds we had Hock who showed what he can do.
Tuson is a good young lad and a strong runner, but he's like O'Carroll - not big enough week in, week out.
Farrell is in a similar boat, but he can hold his own in defence better.
