Glad that was on BBC. Whilst it wasnt the most skillful game of rugby league, it was end to end stuff and really would have caught the neutrals eyes. Brilliant.

You have to be kidding. He doesn't know anything about the game! It's obvious he doesn't watch it through not knowing any of the players "number 14 did well there" I'd take Carney, Barry or Terry, Dave Woods and Bill before him.

JD is excellent and, despite being a Union legend, is a great supporter of Rugby League. If you've ever watched him during Union matches he is forever referencing anything good that happens during the match to League, whether it be good running lines, crunching defence (not that it happens much in t'other code! lol) or whatever. Great abassador for RL and, by all accounts,a great bloke too!
