I agree.
On the basis of those figures, it's difficult to see how they even got close to us, let alone crabbed a draw.

Making more than double their efforts on Clean Breaks and Tackle Busts makes you wonder how we didnt register more points

| For 17 mins we cut them to pieces and then for some reason lost respect for possesion and put ourselves under pressure, by handing the ball back to them time and time again. Midway through second half we seemed to get our sensible heads back on, controlled the ball and caused Leeds all sorts of problems again.

| Those stats tell me that while we were dominant in almost every area of the game.... we were not clinical enough untill Sam set the trent for turning our dominance into points for that final quarter.
I have no doubt that with a half decent kicking game and fewer errors we could have walked all over Leeds.
Just not clinical enough in attack at the moment.
The stat that stands out to me is tackle busts. 40 in one game! That is a couple every set of 6 and it shows just how hard Prescott and Mossop were running the ball in and Hansen as well. I believe that is what made the impact so we could dominate at the end of the game. The Leeds pack were clearly feeling it.

Bloody hell did Amos cover his hands in butter before the game?

| For those still disappointed with Lima, compare his stats to Prescott's, who's had pretty good reviews in the threads. 35 tackles, with none missed, is an outstanding effort for a prop.

He is always involved.
Feka used to come on for his time on the pitch and would do a few runs and big hits but not enough of them.
Lima comes on and works hard for the whole time he is on the pitch!

To be fair if you're on the field when we're defending more you'll make more tackles, if you're on the pitch when we're attacking most of the time and playing much better (as Prescott was) then you'll make very few tackles.
To make so many tackles and not miss a single one is impressive, although I wonder how many of those tackles he was third man in.

| Lies damn lies and .......... (complete this sentence!!).
The stats do not tell the story of this game. They're interesting - if only because its amazing that we are level pegging or better than leeds in almost every area and played 2nd fiddle for 70% of the match. Just goes to show stats taken in isolation are not worth the paper they are written on. As for Lima, have to agree his work rate is impressive and frankley its the only measure we have in regard to his performance because he's hardly ripping it up is he? If we have to go to Aussie to bring in a work horse prop on somehwere between £140 - £160k (guessing) then its a poor show. I dont care how good his stats are, he needs to offer more, and he needs to steer clear of the judiciary for more than a 2 week period.

Yes not bad for a player who will be spending at least a quarter of the season in the stands, he's a liability...end of

Even if that were true - which I sincerely doubt - it's still considerably less time than Feka would be spending on the bench.

| I imagine Madge and Wane wont be too happy with Amos Roberts' stats and Andy Coley's for that matter. Liam Farrell and Lee Mossop continue to shine. I wonder how much game time Chris Tuson got?
Team for me next week:
1. Amos Roberts
2. Darrell Goulding
3. Joel Tomkins
4. George Carmont
5. Pat Richards (woo!)
6. Sam Tomkins
7. Brett Finch
8. Paul Prescott
9. Mike McIlorum
10. Andy Coley
11. Harrison Hansen
12. Ryan Hoffman
13. Sean O'loughlin
----------------------------------------------
14. Liam Farrell
15. Lee Mossop
16. Jeff Lima (hopefully)
17. Thomas Leuluai

We were dominate for the first 15 minutes and should have had a couple of tries on the board. The last 15 we dominated also. Just the middle part where we sort of let it fall apart.
