| He needs 2 stay on for longer IMO.
The other 3 props are doing ok but Coley is head and shoulders above the rest IMO.
I'll get laughed at for this next bit but frankly I don't care. I think he's the most underrated player in SL & it's a shame he ain't 28

| He's top class. Makes you wonder why he's not been involved in the international team over the years. I bet he regrets not finding a better team sooner, but then again, he's found a different level of form at wigan than he showed at salford.

| Just posted in the Prescott thread that I feel his standards have dropped a touch in the last couple of weeks and maybe it is due to minutes played. His effort in the WCC was unbelievable and showed just exactly how good a player he is.
He'll get there imo and maybe your right that he just needs a few extra minutes. He strikes me as a guy that would have no problem doing 60mins+ a game.

| I disagree, I don't think Coley is anywhere near as good as he was last season. He's got some good moments but his work rate seems to be down and I don't think we can rely on him as much. We need to be looking to replace him because I imagine he'll retire at the end of this year.
Coley was of course fantastic in the WCC, but he used to be consistently performing well, whereas at the moment he seems to take a back seat which is no shame considering he's now in his 30's. He'll give us some good performances this year but I think we'll need a replacement after that.

It's a real annoyance of mine that he doesn't seem to get more game time? Simply were a far better side when he's playing.
He starts each match but is always the first one to be taken off and many times the last one to return.

| I rate Coley too . Think he does a lot of hard work. He would have scored today had Mickey Mac passed to him! He wasnt on for long in the second half today - spoke to someone who is related to him and apparently he is carrying a knee injury that requires an operation (similir to Fieldens) but he would be out for months and because its his last year he would rather wait till the season is finished.
Prescott had a great game today and Mossop is getting better and better.

Especially strange when considering we're missing Fielden(and we are missing him badly imo).
What were peoples thoughts on Lima? I thought again it was a real improvment with the ball but he's flagging in defence at times and maybe trys too hard to get involved in tackles rather then admitting he's abit behind play and setting the line again.

| Not overly impressed with Lima yet - but theres time yet.
Like i said before , think Coley is carrying an injury and thats why he is doing shorter spells.

| I think Lima is filling the role Madge signed him for.
He's never been a flashy meter maker or tackle buster but he's a very hard worker.
Btw did anyone see Coleys tackle on Bailey in the first half? Boom

My favourite tackle on Bailey was Joel Tomkins running half the width of the pitch at 22-4 to get involved in a gang tackle after we'd kicked off.
The hunger to get to the idiot and smash him seemed to set a tone for the rest of the game.

Yeah that was a real gang tackle.
Dare i suggest some nasty words were passed down from Madge?

That was the highlight of the game for me and the adrenaline from that seemed to wake Wigan up.

i rarely ever have complaints when Coley comes off to rest on the bench...
90% of the time its as he's beginning to look tired and potentially flat footed in defence
