And Hull FC have aswell.
Which got me thinking... Why? I think its abit cringey & always feel awkward when its read out at matches, noticed most people around me feel the same aswell. What does everyone else think? |

Didn't FIFA originally do this for one of their games? Claiming you would be the 12th man? I'm pretty sure we can't really claim to have came up with the notion, coaches and players often say the home crowd is like an extra man. It's a bit cheesy but if it helps sell merchandise and get bums on seats then so be it.

I meant we were the first team in Super League to do it and give the fans a squad number.
But if you want to go all the way back almost 100 years and to a different sport because your a petty little idiot then so be it.

Thats twelth man ours is 18th 
His point though was that it wasnt a great idea in the first place so why would teams adopt it!
Personally thought it was better than the left over christmas lights that were stuck to the main stand at the GPW recruitment stadium and flashed after a try!
