| Its been fine since they had that massive dig up in the summer of 2008. Never going to be perfect at this time of year but it doesn't look cut up like it always used to do, especially considering they've played twice in five days on it. Suppose it helps that its barely rained for ages.

| The crowd looked poor considering it was a Bank Holiday fixture against a team that is always supported well.

They did, and Wigan Athletic have the lowest home attendance in the Premier League.
But they did say they have a loyal band of supporters.
Conroy, take a bow.

It was pretty sh*te towards the end of the football season last year from what I remember? Think it was the Harlequins game where we had to play on what looked like a ploughed field? Certainly, there were a couple of games when we watched the Champions DVD t'other night where I remembered quite how bad the pitch had looked for a couple of games.

Not entirely true as Newcastle didn't sell out, nor is any club allocated 5,000 any more. Cheapest ticket of £28 (£20 for kids!) is never likely to do much for the crowd though.

LM is that because the seats are unallocated as in the RL games?

No true but that comes with the winter territory. Just saying that in comparison to the usual grassless state it normally ends up in, it hasn't looked too bad recently.

Ok. Maybe 11k Pathetics fans!
Still marvellous support.
Consider when the away end is 'sold out' and away fans end up in the home end. Happens on many occasions...

| Listening to the commentator on GMR during the Arsenal game the other night someone mentioned divot's. The reply was "Yes and the Rugby season does not start 'til February"
Seems that everyone is brainwashed against us.

By the definition of LOYAL you could hardly class the list of average attendances below as any evidence that the modern day Tics fan is loyal. It clearly shows the fickleness of their loyal fans, whereas WRLFC attedances prove that when the chips are down (2006) our fans come to the fore.
As for the 1,845 that were there in the dark days of 1995 . I know a few of these diehards and I can guarantee they detest the ex Utd, Scouse tic JCL's more than any gravy stained, Ellgren wearing, fatty from Whelley.
