Was in club shop today and it seems the new training wear has began to arrive I don't know if this has been mentioned anywhere else but it was news to me. Sum of the hoodies and jackets are nice in my opinion k020.gif

When I was in Warriors World the other day I seen we have more training/leisurewear than when I went in the other week but none of it has been added to the webstore yet. With 2 kits that arent exactly flying off the rails wouldn't it make sense to get all merchandise online because we must have so fans not from Wigan and would buy a hoodie or something instead of the kit and I always check to see if theres anything new in the shop by checking the webstore as I live in Salford.

Would you class the slowness to update on stock as another mistake by the club??

We will get told off for moaning about the club no doubt

But it is a bit daft for the club to effectively limit their income stream.
I don't live in the town so the shop is a very rare opportunity. Checked a few times for new gear with no joy.
Would have had some by now especially with Xmas just gone....

Had a text of a mate today saying how they'd gone to try the new home and away shirts.
They'd left without either as they couldn't try them on as the shop has no changing rooms...

Madness, surely?
I certainly won't be wanting to buy either of those two shirts without trying them on before £40 leaves my wallet.
Would need to see how the pink looks!

I called in again today, and the stuff that's in there now hasn't changed since before Christmas. Either way, there was still nothing I liked so I left empty handed.

whilst I was in there I saw a family walk out in disgust to no having no help at all from the staff and nowhere to try the shirt on. The stuff in there anyhow is absolute pap!

To be honest, I've noticed that the current batch of staff tent to congregate round that little room at the back having a natter, and it's quite poor service to be honest. I waited a good few minutes stood at the till just so I could ask if one of the tops will be coming out in youth sizes.

Even before I hit the floor I thought I'd broken my jaw, but the cheekbone was so depressed I couldn't move it Shaun Edwards Leeds Fan on Mobile phone at Headingley said: "Alright mate it's only me, no I'm just ringing to say there's thousands of Wigan Fans here. Thousands of 'em it's swarming with em". "no fooking $hit sherlock,Barrett got his willy out and pi$$ed all over us. agree the new shop is too small, but is a changing room really necessary for trying on shirts? surely most people would wear their shirt over a vest, t-shirt or thin sweater so would be happy to try one on as such without worrying about indecent exposure.

Current thoughts - Mago out or get running up them plantations, get fit or get rid. Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal. Big tall strong running second rower, like a McMeekin or Sironen type back rower.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_20333.gif

Went in before Christmas and the hoodies were made of thin material and looked very cheap and the staff were rude, I simply asked if you could buy season tickets from there all I got from a southern woman was -

"NO!...STADIUM!" In a sarky manner.

I think the shop is fine, size-wise.

Don't forget, must of us have visited it during the busy Xmas period. It just needs the changing rooms sorted, otherwise it's perfect and the wall of fame is brilliant.

Personally, I wouldn't buy Wigan chocolate or pens etc but for people looking for that stuff it's good. I'd use the shop for buying training/leisure stuff but it's almost all Kooga junk IMO. The first year we had with them was great, I'm even wearing a hoody from that year as we speak with everything emroidered. This years hoodys are cheap and printed.

From what I've seen so far, I won't be buying any Wigan merchandise at all this year.

I agree the Kooga stuff is nowhere near as good as in the past, but the red with white training shirt and the black + red versions are pretty good.

I have worked in a smallish shop before(Cotton Traders) and even we had changing room. It's only four little walls with a mirror, surely it would fit in the store.

They should be forced to watch those dreadful customer service dvd's as a punishment. Or maybe that is too harsh icon_biggrin.gif
