| Stolen shamelessly from the Warrington board but thought it was an interesting topic while its the off season.
Who are your top three players you are looking forward to watching next year?
Obvious ones are 3 new boys Hoffman, Lima and Finch, but ones that stand out for me are:
McIlorum - he really stood up in the grand final and impressed me massively. I was quite worried about the 9 position for next year but if he can stay injury free I think we will be fine.
Lee Mossop was looking immense before his injury & I can only see competition from Tuson, Hoffman, Farrell, Tomkins and Hansen making him a better player.
Last one: the return of Gaz Hock. Enough said...

| 1-Ryan Hoffman- He is a world class second row forward that will hopefully hit the ground running. He should be driven on by the competition in that back row.
2-Mike McIlorum- I thought he was outstanding in the Grand Final and hopefully he can continue that form into 2011. He could well become a starting hooker for us and I back him to come on leaps and bounds.
3-Josh Charnley- The lad looked the business whilst on loan at HKR and I can see him getting plenty of gametime at Wigan next season. He looks a fantastic athlete and hopefully he can go onto become a top line outside back(that will benefit both us and especially England).

| 1) All 3 of the new boys, for obvious reasons - theyve come with the good reputations but will they fancy Salford on a cold February night?
2) Sam Tomkins - sit back and watch him tear apart each and every SL team.
3) Gareth Hocks return.

23997_1287161421.jpg
Great game of rugby league. Fantastic atmosphere, Wigan were breathtaking and dominant in all areas for the first 25 minutes, coupled with us making alot of dumb mistakes, then fortunately they brought McIlorum on which helped us back into the game. I thought some of the tries we scored to get us within two we're out of this world stuff. Towards the end we had to force it a little and we had a few things go wrong, i.e Monas kick on the first for King and Solomona going off who was causing havoc. Wigan were clinical in their eventual execution of us. Proud of Wire today and gave us a little glimpse to the future. Silverwood was awful as per, but I expect no less. Tomkins is a world class player and by far the best english player in SL. Wigan are a champion side and would be a worthy winner of taking our title as challenge cup. Good luck over the next month and a bit.
:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_23997.jpg |

39110_1363272058.jpg Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
-
sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever
-
Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go
-
Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know

| Can't wait to see the 3 new boys. Hoffman is coming into his prime and could be devastating in super league, same for Lima. Not sure about Finch, I hope people don't expect him to do as much as Barrett, I just want him to fit into the team.
Aside from those 3....
McIlorum - Piggy has left and this guy now has a key role and a massive oppertunity to take the number 9 shirt for years to come. He was class in the play-offs and I think he can do it.
Roberts - If this guy returns and half the form he showed at the start of last year then I can't see anything but Wigan claiming an early top place spot like last season and sticking with it.
S Tomkins - His 2nd full season as a first team player, he is already one of the best full-backs and stand-offs in super league. He is a Wigan lad and could be the heart of this side for the next 10-12 years, he is probably the best back this country has produced in the last 10 years. I just cannot wait to see him develop another year.

Don't you struggle. Don't you fight. Don't you worry, cause it's your turn tonight!

| Away from Wigan I'm looking forward to seeing the following.
Mason
Westerman
Rhys Evans
LMS
At Wigan it's got to be the three new signings plus the continued development of people such as Mossop, McIlorum and Farrel. Then again I'm just looking forward to the season in general at Wigan next year. ![Thumbs up icon_thumb.gif](images/smilies//icon_thumb.gif)

| Amos Roberts for me as well.
A good off season and it will be very interesting to see if he can reproduce the form of last year pre injury.

| Paaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat
Here's hoping he makes a full recovery from injury and can get back to the form he showed last season, when he set a new standard for wing play in the SL era.

| Jeff Lima - don’t know why cos I don’t watch any NRL, but somehow I reckon he will become a firm fans favourite.
Amos Roberts – for all the reasons already mentioned. If he gets and stays fit just watch him go.
Lee Mossop – I do believe he could be the best of all of our (excellent quality) second rowers, if he stays fit and realises his potential.
Also : The return of Hock, Finch & Hoff, Farrells continued improvement.
Non Wigan : Will be interesting to see how Westerman goes at Hull, Ainscough & Diskin at Bradford, Mason at Hull KR, and Mathers at Cas! (Tee Hee)
