I can only think of that travel agents down by Debs which would surely be too small or that Council Skills Shop which I’d heard was moving out of the Grand. That would be ideal. Much bigger than the existing store.

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

| Thats a shame really, that spot is quality IMO, right in the middle of the shopping centre, pretty much everyone who goes in there walks past it.
I wonder if the rent on the new store will be a little bit less and thats why they are doing it, they will have great sales when the new shirt comes out and over christmas and when the new season starts but after that the original excitement about having our store in the GA will have worn off I would imagine.
It wouldn't suprise me if the new shop was bigger, more merchandise, more changing rooms, more stock, more room to walk around and browse and maybe even more staff could all equal higher profits  |

| The old Central Park shop did have a large 2011 season ticket poster in the window until a week or so back. I wondered when I first saw the title of this topic whether the store was moving back there - quite glad it's not, as the Grand Arcade location is, um, grand!
I'm told that the new store in the Grand Arcade will have to come with a massive disclaimer in the window, just to comply with equal opportunities and all that - "Other sporting teams do exist in Wigan"... |
