Hi
Are Saints fans ok with Wigan fans shouting for there own team whilst in Saints seats? As not been rugby match in ages and taking kids for 1st time.

Like all clubs, the vast majority are OK but no accounting for the rogue idiot. Every club has them. FWIW I've seen bother inside OT for the last 3 years. |

Last time we were there, we had 1, single, solitary Saints fan sat in the Wigan end, cheering away whenever they were on the attack, with no problems whatsoever.
If that has changed at all, I would be VERY disappointed.
Just go and enjoy yourself. You'll be fine.

3 years ago, a bunch of about 8 of us were in full Wigan gear for the Saints Leeds game and were surrounded by Saints fans.
We openly supporterd Leeds all game and had nothing said/done to us all match. One of the great things about the sport.

You should be ok as long as you dont over do it. They will probably wind you up when they score but my advice would be dont do it back when we score as thats where some head might take exception. Saints fans are usually well behaved and i doubt you will have any problems especially if youve got kids with you. |

Thanks for the advice I woudnt mind live between wigan and st. Helens. Just worried in case my kids overdue it ( they r only 10) and I aint really one for shouting. It willbe bad enough overcoming my height fears and trying to spot the ball.

Whereabouts are you sitting ?
I have the same dilemma, I have won 2 x tickets for the west stand (exec seats) which would be fab but obviously only downfall is that they are in the St. Helens end.
I've also got my own ticket for wigan end but could only get 1 so not sure whether to enjoy wigan end on my own (& thousands other wigan fans) or endure the saints in comfy seats and share the occasion with my son !

There was about 8 of us last year singing wigan songs in the middle of saints fans got the odd comment but only banter
