| Ive noticed that the club have INCREASED the price of season tickets for 2011 by more than 20.00 how can the club expect record attendances when they increase the price? even matchday admission is between 18.00 south stand and 22.00 in the west! (for adults) so youll all have to dig deep for 2011 together with programmes car parking (the pay ones) and the price of expensive food and drinks (if you buy food and drink from the club) that basicley means it will be an expensive trip for supporters next year.

| The prices of everything are going up, some astronomically. Wigan RL is a business, price hikes are needed to survive in certain environments, I'm sure if they could they'd let us all in for a fiver - but that wouldn't be economically viable. Still think its pretty good value for money in a high class stadium compared to some of the dives in the league.

| That's the first price rise in three years. No problem IMO
It's less than the cost of one pint of beer per month.

| How can we complain at that? Still great value to probably see the best team in the league next year.
It will only have an impact on away fans IMO.
After the success this year I think our average will go up even with this price rise. Bare in mind also that the target is a 20k average, if we reach that then tickets will come back down.
I doubt anyone will complain about ticket prices if we win tomorrow and then the GF and then the WCC and our first 5 games of next season. The only thing anyone will complain about is not being able to get tickets.
Saying that I am sure some people will not be able to afford the increase which is a real shame. I am a student so unless my dad pays for it at christmas then I won't be getting it, however, sport is a business, we will have to accept that.

| Still one of the cheapest grounds to get into and one of the grounds with the best facility's £20 per season is nothing. And as for £22 for a seat in the best stand well i dont know how anyone can complain about that its costing £20 with no discount to stand in the rain at Leeds tomorrow.

| Not too fussed about the £20 increase, and is probably as a result of our success on the pitch.
However, what does concern me is the value of a season ticket. Getting a bit fed up with all the 'offers' that the club has been coming up with (6 tickets for £30, free tickets for St. George's day match to Heinz/ Worthingtons, etc.- sure there are others I can't remember). I understand why the club runs promotions to try to get 'new' people through the gate, but feel it does undermine the value of a season ticket. Just to highlight theorectically:
2011 season ticket for me = £206 / 13 games = £15.84 per game
However, I know 3 people with season tickets, so could get 3 games at £5 with their scrum tickets. Also, could get my hands on one of the free Heinz tickets through a work colleague at say £10. Further to that I missed a game this year due to other commitments, so assume I cannot make a game next year.
So, £206 - £15 - £10 = £181.00 / 9 games - 1 missed = £22.63 per game, which makes it cheaper to buy on the door for these 8 games.
Overall, I am happy to pay this premium to have a reserved seat in the East and can afford the cost at present. However, if I sat in the South with no reserved seat or money was tight for whatever reason, I would be giving thought to cherry picking which games to go to.

So, £206 - £15 - £10
If you miss a match then you can swap your 'ticket' for that game for an extra one for a future fixture so you can bring someone else along 'free'. Admittedly this doesn't make it cheaper for you personally, but it was one of the main benefits that sold it to me really.
As it's turned out, I've made all 13 home games this season, but if you use that system creatively then there's value to be had over the base price of the ST.

My thinking exactly. We will more than likely get drenched tomorrow and be stood up all the way through.. Tickets have cost the same as what a home ticket costs and at the DW we are under cover, dry and seated with some pretty fantactic facilities.
Any rise is never welcome by the people paying it but when the rise means its still as cheap or even still cheaper than other grounds of a poorer standard then its daft to complain. for the sake of £1.60 a month it wont be putting me off next season
