Does anybody know what the arrangements are for the first round of the play offs.as latics are at home on that Saturday will we have to find another ground or will the game be switched to Sunday?We are unlikely to finish out of the top two so hope the fans can be informed of the clubs plans asap so we can make arrangements to attend the match.

I know, its winding me up. I just want an answer from the club. Worst case scenario is if Sky force us to play on the Friday night and we have to play it somewhere else cos Whelan doesn't have his '6 weeks notice' then we should start looking at plans for our own stadium.

More than likely the club are waiting until is 100% guaranteed (mathematically) that we finish in the Top Two.

Thing is, we are only 3 weeks away from the event. Its now becomimg a real issue.

It was mentioned to high ranking officials weeks ago, the only answer that came back was " it's hypothetical " well I don't think it is now.

don't get me wrong, I agree with you guys. A top two finish has been on the cards for a long time and I'm just blindly hoping that IFL has been discussing this with the senile old fart that owns the owns the stadium for just as long. Unfortunately I just can't see it. We were told last time that it was too short notice to organise the staff to do an overnight turnaround following a friday rugby match. IMO this excuse could have been blown out the water weeks ago, but seeing as nobody has posted anything along the lines of :
"the next door neighbour of a bloke who is the second cousin of the wife of a bloke who took a pee in the same urinal as my dad's bossses best mates uncle is a steward at the stadium and he's already been told that he'll be expected to work until 4am following the rugby match to get the pitch and stadium ready for the tics."

Then I doubt that any negotiations have taken place and we'll end up at Widnes or Leigh, laughing stocks again and more bitterness towards the stupid old git and his bunch over achieving championship fannys.

They should play it Friday. This nice pitch just doesn't suit our style of play (Latics)

Sorry, guys, but Mr.Lenegan is more than happy with the renting arrangement, so we just carry on doing what whelan tells us to do.
