| Back to Cardiff, back to derbies under a closed roof in February is the rumour.
Not keen, scrap it!

| Stood on Cardiff station with 20,000 others freezing your nads off queueing up for a train in the freezing pi55ing rain and snow?....... in February?.......not bloody likely !!!!!
I love Cardiff, but not in February - lounge, Couch, Sky sports HD & a beer or two methinks.
Where do the RFL get these hairbrained ideas from. - scrap it !
Now, if they had said Croke Park in Dublin end of June.............

| Don't think I'll be bothering then... Who would want to sit around the castle and hang around outside the pubs chilling out and supping beer in the freezing cold??

Jamie Peacock? I'm pretty sure I remember him saying around Murrayfield time this year it should be the Opening Round?

| Yeah Peacock said Feb but in Wembley if i remember rightly. Just so an even bigger stadium can look empty on TV. For me the best idea would be to use one of the average sized (40k ish) football stadiums in the heartlands, city of manchester, elland road for example. And hold it at the end of June when the PL season has finished. If this was the derby games then im sure it would sell out and the majority of people wouldnt have to worry about shelling out on accomodation if they didnt want to. Like people have already said no idea what the RFL are thinking and they clearly didnt listen when they asked our opinion a few months back!

| Was hoping to save costs by camping, if it's Feb I'll give it a miss. Can't see it appealing to the masses either, esp those who have just bought their season tickets, could kill off the magic concept altogether.

Fooking great. I take it that means Wire get a "free 2 pointer" again playing the Mighty Salford, whilst we have to struggle it out against Stains!!

| Get rid of it.
Use that weekend for an international fixture rather than having a mid-week match, or bring back Yorkshire/Lancs with a France/Wales/Scotland match as a double header.
It just does the integrity of the competition no good at all, Wire got Salford this year, we got Hudds, that extra fixture could make a big difference.
Why not make a big spectacle of an England or County game rather than throwing in a useless extra fixture.
