| He has to take a lot of credit for tonight's win.
No head coach, coming off a loss and having to win to keep the journo's pressure off.
His team selection was spot on and his changes to the 17 worked brilliantly.
Sam at fb was a threat all night.
Deacon at 6 was superb.
Feka was good whilst on and kept their big men busy and used up their energy.
I know HullFC were missing their senior players which would make a difference.
They played at the DW though and we posted 48 against them then.
The most impressive thing for SW as he said was the HullFC 0 on the scoreboard. That wasn't a fluke, only one try saving tackle all night.
Well Done Shaun.
He would want to show he can do it and his team proved that he can!

| Do you reckon he picked the team and thats why Feka played or would MM still have final say?

| I said after his interview on the website I wasn't worried in the slightest. Eventually he will make a top class British coach for Wigan and possibly even England. A very bold statement, but there you go.

I agree we were outstanding, but Hull were poor. Even when they had chances, they simpily had no idea what to do on at least 3 occasions simpily backing up the man would have lead to tries for them.

| Chuffed to bits for Shaun. Clearly the heir apparent to the top job when Madge goes back to Oz and I think he'll show in the next couple of weeks that he's got what it takes to carry on what Maguire has started. Don't think he'll be telling us to take the two points after 8 minutes any more though

| Wane does seem to be the heir apparent and I know he is very highly rated by the players, particularly the younger ones that have come through the youth teams whilst he has been in charge.
As for last night and team selection etc I am sure that Maguire would have still chosen this and Wane would have been following his instructions.
