unless I missed something Prescott played 80 mins so not surprising he dropped a couple at the end. really miised Coley tonight - whole game with 2 props was always going to be tough

Another big game that we have let slip through our fingers, if its not Semi Finals, its important cup and league matches. Lets face it we don't have enough players in the side who know what it is like to win anything. If I am not mistaken there was only 4 players in our 17 with winners medals of some discription. Fielden, Richards, Leuluai & Deacon. Not enough IMO, the quicker we get some winners in our side the better we will be. FFS we could soon be the biggest chokers in SL.

dont think so somehow - may have played there through necessity but definately ot a recognised prop - same as mossop filling in until he went off with a hand injury

Games like tonight, Saints at home and Leeds in the cup are why i just don't think we're ready to win a major trophy. Out pack is soft and we're crying out for a decent half-back to partner Sam...

Too too too many knock ons and panic play. Could feel that after 25 mins we'd be lucky to stay in it.

That was my feeling too - we should have put the game out of reach in that first 25 minutes, but bombed too many chances.

Haven't seen the TV replay yet (obviously), but that first Richards "no-try" didn't look much different to the Meli try.

I knew a thread like this would come up about Prescott. People want to take there blinkers off he was our best player bar the last 5 mins he was the one single prop who took it to Wire today made loads of carries and meters and some huge hits.

His best ever game for Wigan for me bar the last five minutes. Fielden has played well recently but he completely bottled it tonight. Captain aswell.

Hardly knee jerk. Yes we've improved over last year, but that's not difficult. I'm yet to be convinced we've got the ability to win the big games when they matter - the evidence is there, no?
